Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics celebrated our three incredible Occupational Therapists during the month of April, 2025.
Here are a few highlights.
“In photo one, I am making a splint post-operatively to protect her small finger. In photo two, I am helping the patient perform her exercises correctly to help increase the range of motion post-wrist injury. The motion we are working on is palm up and palm down which is important for the patient to be able to complete so she can return to the cooking and cleaning tasks that are important to her.” – Jessica Deal, Occupational Therapist
We celebrated the retirement of Marie, Occupational Therapist! We are grateful for the time she spent with us and wish her all the best!
Rebekah McClain, Physical Therapist, and Jessica Deal, Occupational Therapist, share some great insight! Click here to watch them share three things they would never do.
Nick, one of our Occupational Therapists, is shown here working with a patient using two key tools: a goniometer and a grip dynamometer. Click here to watch the full video.
