Event Information

Hughston is hosting a a 1-day course held on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 at the Hughston Foundation in Columbus, GA. It will run from 8:00am – 3:30 pm with a break for lunch. The course is taught by Rick Gawenda, President of Gawenda Seminars and Consulting. Rick is one of the most respected resources available for PT/OT documentation and billing.

The course will cover:   

  • PT/OT/PTA/COTA documentation, CPT coding and billing
  • NCCI edits and modifier 59 for PT and OT services
  • In-depth coverage of the 8-minute rule
  • Definition of substantial per the AMA
  • Billing scenarios to ensure therapists bill correctly to all insurance carriers (including Medicare)

CEUs will be provided for PTs, PTAs, OTs, and COTAs via CIAO Seminars
