The Foundation welcomes adult groups as well for educational tours and hand-on opportunities.

For example, Georgia Healthcare Science Technology Educators Visit the Hughston Foundation.

In January, 70 healthcare science technology educators from across the state of Georgia visited the Hughston Foundation to learn about careers in healthcare and to tour the Hughston campus. Adults particularly enjoy testing their skills with the lab’s arthroscopic simulation equipment in the Foundation’s Surgical Education Center. Teachers have found it valuable to learn more about medical career opportunities to help guide their students towards their interests and talents. Community leaders have taken tours and experienced what the Foundation has to offer to further educate the public on what the Foundation accomplishes for the community at large.
