Event Information

The biennial meeting is the heart and soul of the society membership. As we all share the common bond of having trained at one of the premiere sports medicine programs in the US, it provides a unique opportunity to connect with old colleagues and establish new friends. In recent years, our organization has made tremendous strides to improve membership engagement and participation, and our current mission is to thrive, not just survive. A robust turnout for the upcoming Society meeting is therefore essential to fulfill these initiatives.

Program highlights include dinner and awards at the National Infantry Museum on Friday night. The panel of speakers is impressive with a host of past presidents of the AAOSM and AAOS leadership. A list of confirmed speakers includes; Anthony Miniaci, MD, from Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Center, Brian J. Cole, MD, MBA, who practices at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, Dr. James Andrews from the Andrews Institute, Col(R) Francis G. O’Connor, MD, MPH, a leader over 25 years in sports medicine, education, and research with the military, and a host of other nationally acclaimed orthopaedic and rehabilitation specialists within the US.

SAFETY PROTOCOL: Organizers will follow current recommended CDC guidelines for the safety of participants and staff. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination with booster (if eligible) and wear a mask at all times except when eating or drinking.
